This webpage serves as a crude, public facing compilation of all of the information I have regarding a collection of photographs I came in to ownership of by happenstance during my brief time as a construction worker.
My goal for this project is to unite the descendants of the Bittenbender family with their family photos while utilizing this opportunity to document a uniquely clear example on home life as a deployed family in the 1940's.
This collection of materials contain a leather briefcase, a snippet of a federal form dated from the mid 1940's, a small collection of black and white prints, two rolls of 35mm film negatives, one pack of assorted size medium format film negatives, and one pack of Minox miniature negatives as well as some receipts from a German photo store.
